First Basketball Game

Katelyn had her first Upward basketball game last weekend. She really had a great time. It was definately fun to watch. Hopefully the whole group will learn more about the actual fundamentals of basketball in the next couple of games. Until then...it is quite entertaining to watch! They have a great time so that is all that matters. Katelyn even scored one basket. She was so proud of herself!!

She's A Girl....Positively!!!

We went back to the doctor this Monday and everything looked great. She is for sure a girl!! She weighed in at a whopping 14 ounces. Just on track for her age or maybe a litte bit bigger! She was so active the girl had a hard time keeping up with her. I hope that isn't a prediction of how she will be on the outside world. Here are a few of her pics. Snow Day...Snow Play

We had to do all of our snow play at my Mom's house. We had no electricity and no way to warm up after playing...so we played at her house. The girls had a good time going down the hill in the sled with a little help from Daddy. They even made some snow angels and ate quite a bit of snow. By day number two I think they had seen enough of the snow play. There is nothing like putting on three layers of clothes to go outside for fifteen minutes.

Ice Storm

We are certainly glad that the ice has come and gone. We lost electricity on Tuesday night and didn't get any back until Friday night. We did manage to get out on Thursday and take a few pics. I hope that this is the last we see of an ice storm for many, many years!!
