We celebrated Katelyn's birthday this year by taking her to the Taylor Swift concert. First we went out to eat at Red Lobster and then headed to the concert. It was really neat. I have never seen so many tour buses and semi's in my life. I think we counted 10-15 huge tour buses and 4 full size semi trucks with Taylor's picture on the side. The concert opened up with a short performance by the group Gloriana and then Kelly Pickler sang some of her songs. She was wearing a pair of high heels with about 4 inch heels that were covered in sequins. I thought Katelyn might try and charge the stage to take them. Taylor's part of the concert was great. The stage set along with the dancers and costume changes was pretty unbelievable. It lasted almost 3 1/2 hours total. Lauren did remarkably well and even joined Katelyn and Maggie for some dancing, especially since I found out the next day she had a double ear infection. What a TROOPER!! Anything for Taylor! By the end, all of the girls were ready to go, but they had night I am sure they won't forget!!
